I was disappointed when this arrived with the funtime pop up farm animals. Both are cheaply made - they look basic and it only took a few days for them to look very used.

The boys thought they were interesting for a day because they were new, but they were soon discarded.

There are much better quality versions out there.

I wish I had spent a little more to get something a little more engaging than this toy - it just makes a racket when pumping for the spinning to occur which is slightly scary for my 8 month old - nice bright colours though!

Item delivered very quick ++ bit dissappointed with it thought it a bit boring. I have another one at home for 9month old grandaughter which makes a tune when you press it and she likes that one much better.

My son loves it. I bought it when only a month old and as he grows (he is now 5 months)there is always something he can do with it (which isn't the case of other toys I've bought). It was used for tummy time, and he started concentrating on the colours and he has moved on to hitting it (to hear the crinkly sound) and now he hugs it, rolls over with it, sucks its legs, grabs and waves it... Must admit that I am a Lamaze fan though.

My son loves lamaze toys, inchworm is better for a slightly older babe (5 months+) and not as good as Freddy the firefly which is ACE however he still loves it its just a bit big for his little hands

These have been my son's favourite toys since he was able to focus on them. They are colourful and full of contrast which babies love, and each makes a different sound - one jingles, one crackles and the other rattles I think! Definitely a good buy.

We bought these for my daughter at 10 weeks old and she absolutely loves them especially the cube which has a male face we have nicknamed 'Bob'. We are convinced that her first word will be Bob and not mam or dad. She is 14 weeks old and we shout 'where's Bob?' - she looks around until she finds the cube and smiles. She also does not get frustrated with the toys as she does with some of the other more complex rattles etc

I love manhattan toys. The monochrome makes it attractive for younger babies (when they are little, looking at stuff is their 'playing'). And the different pictures give you a talking point. They are easy to handle as the baby gets older (cube and pyramid) and light enough for baby to pick up and doesn't hurt if they drop it on their head. Great later on too as the ball encourages crawling and the other shapes can be the start of building block. Very good value for money since their uses extend different stages for your baby.
